On Friday, February 17, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the 2022 “Once in Japan” Photo Contest in its Japan Information and Cultural Center Gallery.
Consul General Noguchi spoke on the resurgence of international tourism in Japan last year and his hope that these photos will inspire viewers to further explore Japan and all its charms. The winners shared their experiences relating to their photos and received certificates from Consul General Noguchi. Mr. Kenichi Kaneda, Senior Director and General Manager at Canon U.S.A., Inc., presented the winners with their prizes from Canon.
