Consul General Noguchi gives congratulatory remarks
On Monday, March 27, Consul General Noguchi hosted a conferment ceremony at his official residence for the Northern California Japanese Teachers’ Association (NCJTA), recipient of the Foreign Minister’s Commendation. At the ceremony, NCJTA President Ms. Junko Ito accepted the award and gave remarks on behalf of the association.
For over 50 years, the Northern California Japanese Teachers’ Association has contributed to the development of Japanese language education and to the promotion of Japanese culture in Northern California since its founding in 1972. This award was announced in August 2022 in recognition of the association’s achievements in promoting friendship and intercultural exchange between Japan and the United States.
