Upcoming Event: The 56th Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival

The 56th annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on the weekends of April 8-9 and 15-16 in San Francisco Japantown. This year’s festival will feature a wide variety of cultural performances and activities for all ages, culminating in the return of the Grand Parade on the final Sunday, April 16.
The Consulate General of Japan will hold an information booth on the first weekend of the festival, April 8 and 9, in the Japantown Peace Plaza with information on visiting Japan, Japanese culture, the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), study abroad opportunities and more.
