2023 Kinmon Gakuen Year-End Ceremony

On Saturday, May 20, Consul General Noguchi gave congratulatory remarks at Kinmon Gakuen’s 2023 year-end ceremony, attended by 30 students from first through ninth grade. In his speech, Consul General Noguchi congratulated and recognized the students’ efforts in studying the Japanese language and encouraged them to continue to be a bridge between Japan and the United States. He also expressed his gratitude to the school for offering Japanese language education for more than a century.
 
Kinmon Gakuen has provided Japanese language education in San Francisco Japantown since its establishment in 1911, and offers Japanese language classes on Saturday morning for students aged 5 to 18 years old.
