Conferment Ceremony of Imperial Decoration for Mrs. Nobuko Saito Cleary

On Friday, May 26, Consul General Noguchi hosted the conferment ceremony and reception for Mrs. Nobuko Saito Cleary, recipient of The Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays. Mrs. Saito Cleary was recognized in the 2022 Autumn Conferment of Japanese Decorations for distinguished services for the promotion of Japanese culture. Mrs. Saito Cleary has dedicated many years to introducing and promoting Japanese culture in Northern California through her involvement in such organizations as, the Community School for Music and Arts, Hidden Villa, and Japan Society of Northern California.
