On Thursday, July 13, Consul General Noguchi hosted a Japan- U.S. Military Program (JUMP) reception at his residence for Bay Area U.S. military personnel formerly stationed in Japan. Speakers included Brigadier General Clark of the Marine Corps and Ms. Suzanne Basalla, President of the U.S.-Japan Council. Participants enjoyed Japanese food, sake, and Japanese tea while reminiscing about their service in Japan while deepening their friendship.
