The 7th Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival

On Saturday, April 6, the 7th Kizuna Japanese Spring Festival was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, organized by the Kizuna Japanese Society. Consul General Osumi attended and spoke at the opening ceremony. Other speakers included Congresswoman Dina Titus, Honorary Consul of Japan in Las Vegas Kathleen Blakely, and Kizuna President Yuko Yamada. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the festival as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between Japan and Nevada, and as a chance for attendees to experience new aspects of Japanese culture.
Festivalgoers enjoyed a variety of Japanese cultural activities, such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, and ikebana, as well as performances such as dance, music, and martial arts.
