2024/5/30

On Thursday, May 30, Consul General Osumi held a meeting at Lynbrook High School in San Jose with local Japanese language teachers, community members, and representatives of Japanese community organizations to exchange views on revitalizing Japanese language classes in the area.
Consul General highlighted the need to work with the community as he noted that there is great interest among community stakeholders to support Japanese language education. In that sense, participants discussed possible means of providing more access to learn about Japanese culture and language, and how to work with the community.
The Consulate hopes that this reoccurring meeting will help Japanese Language Education in the area continue to thrive.
