On Sunday, August 18, Acting Consul General Kishimori attended the 35th US-Japan Friendship Cup Tennis Tournament, hosted in Millbrae by the Japan Society of Northern California. Founded in 1987, the friendly tournament is an opportunity for the people of Japan and the United States to connect and play tennis together. Acting Consul General Kishimori awarded the tournament’s champion the Consular Cup, which was donated to the tournament by the Consulate General in 1990.
