Application Open: 2025 Japanese American Leadership Delegation to Japan

We are now accepting applications for the 2025 Japanese American Leadership Delegation to Japan.
The Japanese American Leadership Delegation (JALD) program provides the opportunity for a select group of Japanese American leaders from across the United States to travel to Japan to engage with Japanese leaders in the business, government, academic, non-profit and cultural sectors. JALD is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and coordinated in partnership with the U.S. Japan Council (USJC).
Applicants residing within our Consulate’s jurisdiction should submit applications to the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco via e-mail by Monday, September 9, 2024.

How to Apply
Individuals selected must be able to travel to Japan from February 28–March 8, 2025, and attend a mandatory orientation in Los Angeles on January 31-February 1, 2025.Applicants residing within our Consulate’s jurisdiction should submit applications to the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco via e-mail by Monday, September 9, 2024.
