On Saturday, April 5, Consul General Yo Osumi attended and gave remarks at the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) Northern California-Western Nevada-Pacific (NCWNP) District’s 2025 Gala Awards Banquet in San Ramon.
With the theme of “Art, Advocacy, and Activism”, the event featured a keynote address by Roy and PJ Hirabayashi of San Jose Taiko, who delivered an inspiring presentation and performance. JACL National President Larry Oda and District Governor Carol Kawase also addressed the audience. Congratulations to the NCWNP District and this year’s honorees!
