On Saturday, May 17, the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) organized its annual Clean-Up Day at the Japanese Cemetery in Colma, California. Consul General Yo Osumi, Mrs. Osumi and about 30 Consulate staff and family members participated in the event, cleaning up the cemetery alongside members of the Japanese and Japanese American community.
By cleaning the graves, participants show their deep respect for those at rest there.
