The 75th Annual Community Memorial Day Service in Colma

On Monday, May 26, the 75th Annual Community Memorial Day Service was held at the Japanese Cemetery in Colma, organized by Japanese Benevolent Society of California. Consul General Osumi attended the ceremony, offered flowers and gave remarks expressing appreciation for the generations of Japanese and Japanese Americans at rest in the cemetery.
Representatives from the local Japanese and Japanese American communities attended the ceremony to pay tribute to their predecessors and pledge to carry on the positive Japan-U.S. relations that they have built through their dedication and hard work.
