Deputy Consul General Ishihara attends U.S. Memorial Day Ceremonies

On Sunday, May 25, Deputy Consul General Takeshi Ishihara attended the USS San Francisco 2025 Memorial at Land’s End, followed by the Oak Hill Japanese Cemetery Trust Memorial Day Service and the U.S. Memorial Day Ceremony in San Jose on Monday May 26. At all three services, Deputy Consul General Ishihara delivered remarks in remembrance of lives lost in war, and the strength of the enduring peace and friendship between Japan and the United States in the 80 years following the end of the Second World War.
