Consul General Osumi gives congratulatory remarks
On Saturday, May 31, Consul General Yo Osumi and Mrs. Osumi attended the 71st San Mateo Nippon Gakuyen Completion and Graduation ceremony.
 
Consul General gave remarks commending all students on completing the school year, extended his congratulations to the six graduates, and expressed his appreciation for the school for helping to preserve and promote Japanese language and culture in the community.
 
San Mateo Nippon Gakuyen has provided Japanese language education in San Mateo for over 105 years since its establishment in 1919, and offers Japanese language and culture classes on Saturday mornings for K-12 students.
