Consul General Osumi greets attendees
On Sunday, July 27, Consul General Yo Osumi and Mrs. Misao Osumi joined the 94th San Francisco Bon Odori, organized by the Buddhist Church of San Francisco in San Francisco Japantown. During the dancing, Consul General Osumi spoke to attendees, thanking them for coming together to share time-honored Japanese traditions.
For the second year in a row, the event featured a Bon Odori set to the EXPO 2025 theme song “Kono Hoshi no Tsuzuki wo” by Japanese duo KOBUKURO, promoting EXPO 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan, April 13 – October13, 2025.
