On Wednesday, July 30, Consul General Yo Osumi hosted an inaugural meeting at his residence in for Japanese entrepreneurs who are active in Silicon Valley, aiming to foster deep connections between innovators and promote knowledge exchange.
 
The meeting brought together nine entrepreneurs: Hiroaki Yasutake, CEO of Junify; Yokichi Koga, CEO of Drivemode; Koki Uchiyama, CEO of Effyis; Maki Kaplinsky, Co-founder of ASKA; Kazuki Nakayashiki, Co-founder of Glasp; Shoko Ugaki, CEO of Orange; Takashi Nishina, Co-founder of BlocQ; Kenta Hara, CEO of HelloSake; Sumina Koiso, CEO of Newond.
 
During their discussion, participants shared insights gained from challenges they faced on their entrepreneurial journeys and had a dynamic discussion on policy changes they hope to see enacted by the Japanese government.
