Consul General Kotaro Otsuki visited CES 2026 from Tuesday, January 6 to Thursday, January 9. Consul General Otsuki visited the booths of several Japanese companies, including AGC, EdgeCortix, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Kubota, Panasonic, Sony Honda Mobility, and Rapidus, which showcased breakthroughs in advanced mobility solutions, digital twins, semiconductors, and more.
In addition, he joined Honorary Consul General in Las Vegas Kathleen Blakely to visit the Japan Pavilion, organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) San Francisco. The Pavilion showcased 31 Japanese startups working in fields like spatial computing (AR/VR/XR), metamaterials, AI, health tech, and entertainment.
Throughout the conference, Consul General Otsuki and other officials had engaging discussions with company representatives on emerging trends in advanced technologies.
