Consul General Otsuki visits Monterey County

Discussion with CSU Monterey Bay Japanese language students
On Tuesday, March 24, Consul General Kotaro Otsuki was warmly welcomed across multiple locations in Monterey County, engaging with educational institutions and the local Japanese American community.

Consul General's visit included meetings at the Monterey County Office of Education and with members of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) of Monterey Peninsula. He also visited the faculty and students of the Japanese language program at California State University, Monterey Bay, as well as toured the Monterey Museum of Art.

Throughout the day, Consul General Otsuki exchanged ideas on Japanese language education with local educators and members of the Japanese American community. At CSU Monterey Bay, he met with students studying Japanese, sharing insights from his diplomatic career and discussing the importance of cross-cultural understanding.
