On Monday, May 25, the 76th Annual Community Memorial Day Service was held at the Japanese Cemetery in Colma, organized by the Japanese Benevolent Society of California. Consul General Kotaro Otsuki attended the ceremony, offered flowers, and gave remarks expressing appreciation for the generations of Japanese and Japanese Americans at rest in the cemetery.
Representatives from the local Japanese and Japanese American community attended the ceremony to pay tribute to their predecessors, pledging to carry on the positive Japan-U.S. relations that has been built through their dedication and hard work.
