Deputy Consul General Ishihara gives congratulatory remarks
On Saturday, May 30, Deputy Consul General Takeshi Ishihara attended the 72nd San Mateo Nippon Gakuyen Completion and Graduation ceremony. 

Deputy Consul General Ishihara gave congratulatory remarks where he commended the graduating students for their achievements and recognized their years of effort in studying Japanese language every Saturday morning. He emphasized that the graduates' achievements were made possible by the support of teachers and family, and expressed his gratitude to them. 

Most of the 2026 graduates spent their Saturdays every school year learning Japanese for more than 10 years. During the ceremony, each graduating student reflected on their memories of their time at the school and expressed their aspirations for the future.
