On Friday, September 25, Consul General Kotaro Otsuki attended the Sports Day held by the Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program (JBBP) at Rosa Parks Elementary School in San Francisco. During the opening ceremony, Consul General Otsuki delivered words of encouragement to the students. He also joined the students in the Radio Taiso (Radio exercise) and cheered on both the Red and White teams as they competed in events. Students from kindergarten to fifth grade enjoyed the Undo-kai while giving their best in each event, supported by warm encouragement from their parents, children from nearby preschools, and members of the local community.
