On Monday and Tuesday, January 26 and 27, British Rakugo performer Diane Kichijitsu visited Las Vegas, Nevada from Osaka to entertain area students with her unique style of Rakugo. She gave special performances and storytelling workshops for the students of Spring Valley High School, Roy Martin Middle School, and Ed W. Clark High School. During her visit, Diane was able to perform in front of over 600 students and teachers.

Rakugo is a traditional Japanese comedic storytelling style that has been enchanting audiences for over 400 years. Rakugo performers tell their stories while dressed in kimono and seated on a cushion, using their voice, gestures, facial expressions, and a fan and handkerchief as props to bring the stories to life.
