Japanese High Speed Rail Presentation in Las Vegas

On January 28th, Consul Masao Kanno gave a presentation on High Speed Rail and Maglev to the general public at Clark High School in Las Vegas. In addition, he gave the same presentation on the 29th to high school students at Clark High School and Spring Valley High School. They took great interest in the Shinkansen network and its importance, as well as the Chuo Shinkansen, a superconducting Maglev train that Japan began constructing last year as the next generation in transportation. There was also a lively question-and-answer session.
