Consul General and Mrs. Watanabe Visit Presidio Middle School

On Thursday, March 5, Consul General and Mrs. Watanabe paid a visit to Presidio Middle School in San Francisco. There they met with Principal Tony Payne, and they were briefed by Principal Payne on the Japanese language program at Presidio Middle School. Following the meeting, Consul General and Mrs. Watanabe visited a JBBP (Japanese Bilingual & Bicultural Program) class where they enjoyed watching a Japanese lesson. After greeting the students and offering a few words of encouragement he took several questions from them. After visiting the class, Consul General and Mrs. Watanabe were given a brief tour of the school with three Japanese language students acting as escorts.
