ShortShorts: New Japanese Cinema at CAAMFest 2015

On Saturday, March 14, and Thursday, March 19, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco partnered with the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and Japan-based ShortShorts to present a selection of Japanese short films at Sundance Kabuki Cinemas at the 2015 CAAMFest film festival. The five short films covered a wide variety of styles and themes from comedy, to drama, to music.
About 150 people combined attended the two screenings on March 14th and 19th, and they enjoyed 5 short films by directors from Japan and other countries describing current Japan.
