Opening Reception for JINS Eyewear

On April 9, Consul General Watanabe attended JINS opening reception. JINS is an eyeglass retail chain with more than 300 stores, mainly in Japan. The newly opened store located near San Francisco’s Union Square is the first in North America. The new store offers 1,200 glasses styles, and showcases Kanna, an eyeglass making machine introduced for the first time in the world. Kanna is able to complete her job of making prescription lenses in only 30 minutes after receiving an order.
