Event: Haiku Across Borders: From Japan to the United States…and Back Again? Perspectives of an American Haiku Poet

On Monday, June 22, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco in association with the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, presented “Haiku Across Borders: From Japan to the United States…and Back Again? Perspectives of an American Haiku Poet”. Around 30 attended the event and enjoyed the discussion with award-winning haiku poet, author, and former diplomat Abigail Friedman on her perspectives in the world of Japanese and North American haiku.
