Okinawan Folk Dancing and Drumming at the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival

On Thursday, July 9th, 2015, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in conjunction with the 15th Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, presented a concert of Okinawan folk song and dance featuring the Kinuko Mototake Okinawan Dance Academy and the Okinawa Eisa Shima Daiko Drummers. Even despite the overcast weather, the performers were able to warm up an audience of around 250 people.
