Venture Crew 314 Meets with Consul General Yamada

On Wednesday, July 22, 11 scouts from Venture Crew 314, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, visited the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco before departing on their trip to Japan to participate in the World Scout Jamboree 2015, which will be held in Yamaguchi prefecture from end of this month. Consul General Yamada met with the scouts and discussed their role as cultural and community ambassadors. The scouts also presented Consul General Yamada with gifts of a scout kerchief, crew patches, and the ingredients to make the campfire classic, s'mores.
