Japanese Local Mascot Characters Visit the Consulate

On Friday, August 7, Consul General Yamada received a courtesy call by Japanese local mascot characters "Chissai-Ossan" from Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, "Sana-Sena-Bona" from Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and "Koakkuma & Akkuma" from Sapporo City, Hokkaido. Consul General Yamada encouraged them to share the unique attractions of Japanese local cities & towns with the people of the Bay Area.
