The 98th Green and White Award from the Agricultural Society of Japan

On August 28, a conferment ceremony for Mr. Yuzo Maruyama, a horticulturist from Sacramento, was held at the Consul General’s official residence in San Francisco. Mr. Maruyama received the 98th Green and White Award from the Agricultural Society of Japan. On that day, Mr. Maruyama’s family, members of the Agricultural Society of Japan, and the press gathered to celebrate the occasion. Mr. Maruyama has been praised for his achievements in agriculture and for contributing to the friendship between Japan and California.
