Lecture: “The Japan California Relationship”

On Sunday, September 27, Consul Akira Ichioka together with local staff member Steven Goldman from the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco visited San Carlos and gave a PowerPoint presentation on California-Japan relations. To an audience of approximately 20 people, the presenters took a number of interesting questions on the California-Japan relationship and there was also a brief talk from a parent on the experience of her daughter who had participated in the local student exchange program that connects San Carlos with Omura City in Nagasaki Prefecture.
