Consul General Yamada Visits the Asian Art Museum

On Friday, December 4, Consul General Yamada visited the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and spoke with Dr. Jay Xu, Director of the Asian Art Museum. During their discussion, Consul General Yamada expressed his gratitude and respect for the Asian Art Museum and the role it has played in promoting the understanding of Japanese art in the region. After the talk, the Consul General toured the new Japan-related exhibit, "Looking East: How Japan Inspired Monet, Van Gogh, and other Western Artists".
