Consul General Yamada Receives Courtesy Visit from the Kokushikan University Judo Club

On Wednesday, February 17, Consul General Yamada received a courtesy call from members of Kokushikan University’s Judo club, visiting the Bay Area as part of an international training tour. Since entering a sister-school relationship with San Francisco State University in 2001, this was Kokushikan University’s 15th opportunity to visit this region and promote international understanding through exchange. Consul General Yamada gave words of encouragement and hopes that the athletes will experience international cultural exchange and foster new friendships through judo.
