Japanese University students’ visit to San Francisco (KAKEHASHI project)

On Wednesday, March 9, Deputy Consul General Watanabe gave a welcome speech to the group of more than 100 Japanese University students who are currently visiting San Francisco through the KAKEHASHI Project. The students were also briefed on the Japan-California relationship and the history of Japanese Americans in California.

During their stay in San Francisco, the students will give presentations on Japan at some local Universities, visit Japanese and American companies and tour historical and cultural sites in Northern California.
