Pacific Salon

On Tuesday, March 29, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco and the Japan Society of Northern California (JSNC) co-hosted the Pacific Salon lecture series at the Consul General's official residence. Japan Society President Larry Greenwood and about 30 members of the Japan Society attended the event. The guest speaker, Ambassador Ira Shapiro, Chairman of the National Association of Japan-America Societies (former Ambassador and chief trade negotiator with Japan and Canada in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative) gave a lecture on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the relationship between Japan and the United States.
