On Thursday, June 2, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, hosted a lecture as part of its JAPAN FOOD SERIES.
Last year, the Bay Area’s own Blue Bottle Coffee made news for entering the Japanese market. Mr. James Freeman, founder and CEO of Blue Bottle Coffee, was invited as the leadoff speaker for the JAPAN FOOD SERIES. He explained about how Japan and Japanese culture influenced his coffee business.
*The second lecture in the JAPAN FOOD SERIES will be held on Monday, June 20, and the third lecture will be held on Thursday, July 14.
