On June 4th, the 30th Annual Santa Cruz Japanese Cultural Fair was held at Mission Plaza Park in Santa Cruz. Consul General Yamada attended and gave remarks at the festival’s opening ceremony.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of cultural attractions and performances including ikebana, marshal art demonstrations, and traditional Japanese folk dance. The consulate held an information booth and distributed materials on education, travel, and culture in Japan.
