Morgan Hill-Mizuho Machi, 10-Year Sister City Anniversary Celebration

On July 2nd, the City of Morgan Hill held a reception to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of being sister city with Mizuho Machi. Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi attended the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthems of the United States and Japan, and continued with a performance by Sandoshin Taiko. Afterwards, Mr. Steve Tate, Mayor of Morgan Hill; Mr. Kouemon Ishizuka, Mayor of Mizuho; Mr. Nagao Takamizu, Assembly Chairperson of Mizuho; Mr. Steve Betando, Superintendent of Morgan Hill Unified School District; and Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi gave congratulatory remarks and exchanged gifts. The ceremony ended with a performance by Niseishin Taiko.
