On July 28, Mayor Kuki and a student delegation from the City of Chichibu visited the Consulate with some host families from their sister city of Antioch. Consul General Yamada gave a welcome address and Consulate staff provided an orientation presentation.
Chichibu holds one of the three greatest parade float festivals in Japan named the Chichibu Night Festival every December 2 and 3. Over 200,000 tourists visit Chichibu each year to see this amazing festival.
