On Sunday, July 31, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco partnered with Union Square Live to present a free performance of Okinawan dancing, drumming, and karate demonstrations. About 700 people attended the performance. A booth with information on Okinawan culture and travel was also held during the performance.
