US and Japanese high school students recognized at Stanford’s Japan Day

On 9th August, Consul General Jun Yamada attended the Japan Day event at Stanford University to congratulate three high school students from the US and two high school students from Japan on their outstanding achievement as participants in the Reischauer Scholars Program and the Stanford e-Japan Program. The two programs are offered by Stanford University and enroll exceptional high school students from the US and Japan to engage in an intensive study of Japan and the US through online courses.
