Ikebana International and the Ikebana Teachers Federation Luncheon

On Friday, September 2, Consul General Yamada held a luncheon at his residence honoring the new officers of Ikebana International and the Ikebana Teachers Federation. In his remarks, Consul General Yamada thanked the leadership of the two organizations for their activities in promoting traditional Japanese culture through ikebana (Japanese flower arranging).
The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Ikebana International holds meetings and demonstrations once a month from September to May.
