On Friday, September 2, the San Jose Giants (Class A-Advanced Minor League farm team for the San Francisco Giants) held their Japanese Heritage Night. Deputy Consul General Nagayoshi attended the event, throwing the ceremonial first pitch and participating in a sake barrel breaking ceremony before the game.
