On Saturday, September 24, Consul General Jun Yamada attended Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area Branch’s ArtScapes 2016 ikebana flower show. During the opening ceremony, Consul General Yamada presented the Consul General’s Commendation to former Sogetsu San Francisco Director Ms. Joan Suzuki for her contributions in promoting friendship between the United States and Japan and increasing regional appreciation of Japan through ikebana.
