Panel Discussion on Empowering Women in Leadership in Japan and the U.S.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his government advocate a set of economic policies called “Abenomics” and promote “A Society Where Women Shine”. The Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, in partnership with Asia Society Northern California and the University of California, Berkeley, is proud to present two panel discussions on empowering women.
Ms. Kaori Sasaki from Japan will give a keynote and join the panel to discuss the current progress on women in the societies of both Japan and the Bay Area, their common issues and possible solutions. Ms. Sasaki is the Founder and CEO of ewoman, Inc. and Founder and Chair of the International Conference for Women in Business, which is the largest conference on gender equality in Japan.
