The 50th Anniversary of the Shinkansen

To celebrate the Tokaido Shinkansen’s 50th Anniversary, the Japan Information and Cultural Center presented an exhibit showcasing the 50 years of Shinkansen history. Featured at this exhibit were panels highlighting the Shinkansen’s unique technology, impeccable safety standards, hospitable service, useful traveling tips and models of the newest Shinkansen trains.
