What is the KAKEHASHI Project?
The KAKEHASHI Project is funded by the Japanese government and run in partnership with cooperating organizationss such as JICE (Japan International Cooperation Center). It is a people-to-people exchange program that brings groups of Americans to Japan for a span of 7 to 10 days, and allows them to visit a variety of Japan's landmarks and interact with the local community. These groups include students (high school or university), local and national policy makers, Japanese language learners, athletes, and more.
